Our Shared Commitment “May the God who gives you endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth, you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 1:5-6 It is our deep desire at Camp Harlow to cultivate an environment where unity in ministry is a high priority. We strive to have a ministry team that is committed to growing in their personal walk with God and seeks to live for the benefit of others and the glory of God. Unity of ministry is a product of having a shared belief, shared commitment, and shared purpose. Unity takes place when gifted and willing individuals, who are called by Him, serve and love with a heart for God and others.

CAMP HARLOW/FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH STATEMENT OF FAITH
– We believe the Bible to be the inspired, perfect and authoritative Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

-We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe God created everything for His glory and that everything is subject to His sovereign will. (Gen. 1:1, Hebrews 1:1-13, John 10:30)

-We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe God created everything for His glory and that everything is subject to His sovereign will. (Gen. 1:1, Hebrews 1:1-13, John 10:30

-We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, and in His miracles. He is the Son of God and the only way to salvation. We believe that Jesus died on the cross, rose physically from the dead conquering sin once for all, and ascended to Heaven to reign with the Father. (Isa. 7:14, John 1:14, Phil. 2:5-8, John 14:6-7)

-We believe that because of the fall of mankind and continuing sin, we need to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit, who lives in all believers and gifts each believer to build up the body of Christ. (Rom. 3:23, Eph 1:13-14, 1 Cor. 12:7-11)

-We believe that God has called Christians to continued growth in their relationship with Him through prayer, worship, Bible study, fellowship, serving and sharing our faith. (Galatians 5:25, 2 Peter 1:3-7)

-We believe in the literal and imminent return of Christ to claim His people. (1 Thess. 4:13-18, John 14:1-4)

-We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ who desire to love people like Jesus and strive to live in peace with one another. (John 13:34-35, Rom. 12:18)
